Setting up

This guide will help you setup your British Ladder Truck

Setting up a vehicle with Smart Vehicle is easy. First of all, download the vehicle from your Cfx Portal account and install it as a new resource in your server.

The vehicle lua file may already be present in the Smart Vehicle > Vehicles folder. If so, no further action is needed to set up the vehicle.

Spawn Code

The spawn code for this vehicle is britishladder for the Non-ELS version and britishladderels for the ELS version.

Automatic Setup

This vehicle supports automatic setup, just enter the drivers seat and it should setup for you.

Menu

British Ladder Truck features a working control panel, allowing you to control all elements of the tiller without having to use the keybinds. By default, the menu will work provided you have renamed the Tiller resource "british" for the Non-ELS version and britishels for the ELS version, and Smart Vehicle is fully up to date.

The resource is configured to automatically open the menu when you start controlling the vehicle, however this can be disabled in the british.lua or britishels.lua file within the Smart Vehicle vehicles folder.

Within the menu section you are able to enable/disable the menu, set whether it opens automatically when a player starts controlling and also set the key to open the menu (if you didn't have it open automatically or a player later closes it and wants to reopen).
