Installing Resources
Installing your resources is a simple process!
Make sure your server artifacts version is up to date
Before installing the resource, please check your Server Artifacts version as you must be using one of the latest recommended versions for our resources to work.
This is a requirement set by FiveM with their Asset Escrow System through Cfx Portal.
To update your server artifacts, find the latest version using the link below for Windows:
Download the latest version of the resource from your Cfx Portal account
You can login to your Cfx Portal account here before navigating to the Granted Assets page, where you can download the resource by pressing the button to the right hand side.

This will download the resource as a .zip file.

Make sure you are using a server key from the Cfx Portal account where you downloaded the resource
For the resource to work and authenticate correctly, you'll need to be using a server licence key from the Cfx Portal account where you downloaded the resource.

You can view your server registration keys here on Cfx Portal.
Using Zap Hosting or another hosting provider?
If you are using a hosting provider such as Zap Hosting, you'll need to make sure that you have added your own custom licence key.
The document below provides more information on how to add your own custom licence key, which involves editing your server.cfg file.
Move the downloaded resource folder into your resources folder within your server
Navigate to your server directory and locate your resources folder, likely containing other resource folders already installed.

Drag the contents of the .zip file (the resource folder) into your server resources folder, as seen in the photo above.
Installing the resource on a remote computer or VPS?
Some file transfer softwares can corrupt the resource files leading to it not functioning properly on your server. When connecting to your remote VPS/server, we recommend the use of WinSCP which can be downloaded here and used by following a tutorial video here.
If you are using FileZilla, make sure you set your transfer mode to binary as seen below in order to avoid an error at runtime:

Need support?
You can open open a ticket on our support panel using the link below, but make sure you have read our documentation first if your issue relates to a resource.
