To create a new spike, simply go to the location where you would like to place the spike strip and use the /spike create command. If the user has the required permission this will put them into the spike placement mode.
When creating a new spike you have the option to set the permanence. If you set the spike to permanent, this will keep the location of it after your server restarts. If you set it to temporary, the spike will disappear after your server restarts - perfect for short term events and incidents.
The LEFT ALT button allows you to change whether the direction spike is permanent or temporary. Permanent spikes will remain over resource/server restarts, whilst temporary spikes will be removed upon the resource being restarted.
To remove an existing directional spike, simply stand near a directional spike and use /spike remove. This will remove the nearest spike to you, whether this be permanent or temporary. You must be within 5 meters of the spike for this command to work, however, this is customisable in the config.lua.
