Using the resource

Setting up a drone

Use /drone [type] to begin setting up a drone. The types available will appear as a chat suggestion but they are Drone1 and Drone2 by default. Leaving this blank will use the default configured drone.

This will setup a drone in front of you along with a landing pad, included as part of the resource.

Controlling the drone

Drones can only be controlled in the new version using live camera mode. This is to allow for better flight mechanics and realism. Press LEFT ALT to begin controlling. This key is configurable.

You can now use your default GTA keybinds to control the drone, including your mouse and WSAD.

Controlling the camera

Adjusting the camera on the drone is simple. Use ARROW UP, ARROW LEFT, ARROW DOWN and ARROW RIGHT to do this. These keys are configurable.

Search Light

By default, the search light will turn on between the hours of 18:00 and 06:00. You can manually turn it on or off using INSERT.

If enabled in your config, you can adjust the search light colour by pressing PAGE UP. All of these keys are configurable.

Night Vision and Thermal

To toggle night vision, use HOME. To toggle thermal imaging, use DEL. These are both also configurable.

To stop controlling

To stop controlling, simply press LEFT ALT again, or another key if you've changed it in the config file.

Removing a drone

Use /drone to remove the drone. Or /drone [type] to switch to another type.
